Good Friday
Yellow light bulb
and Jesus on the wall,
it is good friday
I lie awake in bed tonight
and the voices are sweet
and fluffy, cotton candy
Red and pink mouthfuls
of ineffable words
I faint to glucose,
levitating
skin and bones,
salt and sourness,
noses and eyelashes
to the ceiling
Jesus down there
and a yellow light bulb
on my face,
it is a good friday
The voices are sweet
from plastic mouths
to red ears
from organic beats
to electric beats
of your humanity
Jesus down there
and everywhere yellow
The music is love.
